About Us
We are a group of professional nurses whose job description is: 35 ‘For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did it to me.’ (Matthew 25: 35-40)
Also, we believe that ‘to whom much is given, much is required.’ (Luke 12:48)
We believe that according to Scripture that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit created by God to live life in its fullness. In our passion to serve others and glorify God, we will provide a nurturing environment to inspire, coach, mentor, and teach the nurses who volunteer to be a part of Serving Our Sisters Spiritual Food, Inc.
Our goal is to leave no nurse underserved. To that end, we will facilitate devotions, group discussions, prayer sessions, retreats, educational seminars, luncheons, dinners, tea parties, and other meaningful activities as deemed appropriate. We will utilize the Bible (God’s Holy Word) to ‘serve and feed’ each nurse whom we will address as “Sister.” Our ultimate goal is to lead others to Christ by first meeting their basic needs, and then to tell them our “Why.”
We are a Public Charities Organization under IRC Section 501 (c) (3).
